Greek Theatre Meets Artificial Intelligence

In this re-imagining of Aristophanes' The Frogs, Dionysus journeys to Hades to restore intelligence to entertainment by bringing back Shakespeare to give him an HBO show. This production asked, "What if the script were generated by an AI script generator that slowly lost its ability to discern between fine art and an onslaught of pop culture references, memes, and reality TV?" What began as a misguided journey into an AI-generated Hellmouth (meant to be Hades), culminated in a reality TV-hosted brawl as Jane Austen and the Bard, egged on by vitriol-loving frogs, battled over who deserved to be resurrected.
